The Tiger Woods story is bigger than....

Tiger has released a statement which he pretty much admitted to his transgressions. The statement was given after an audio clip was released of Tiger leaving a voice-mail to a woman asking her to not call and warned her that his wife may call her.

Text messages of Tiger Woods have been released. Bloggers, sports radio, news networks and tabloids can't get enough this news.

With all this criticism that Tiger has been facing, will this make a HMI musician thinks twice or even THREE times before cheating?

Does it make the HMI musician more conscious about LEAVING VOICE-MAILS, E-MAILS or TEXTING to their lovers because all of these communications can be EVIDENCE later?

Does the HMI musician refuse to SEND pictures of himself or body parts through the phone?

Hmm.. what about the GIRLFRIENDS and WIVES.
Will a GIRLFRIEND or WIFE be empowered by Mrs. Woods's action and SAY ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

Tina - Crazy Feeling

TINA MOVIE/MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERE WITH ALI ANGEL/NICKENSON!

CARIMI LISTENING SESSION IN HAITI: 5 SECONDS TO KONVETI!!!!!

I'm assuming that 5 seconds have past from the moment you click on the post so i'm assuming that nou already konveti. I'm coming back from the Buzz album listening session and what i can say it's a success. Carimi will beautifully bounce back from their last album. The Buzz video, Buzz meaning pa sa ou fumen an pral bay moun problem. Rarely have I seen a video an be in awe. Amazing. Let's not get ahead of our self so let us begin the review XXplosive Style.....

LOCATION...LOCATION...LOCATION...

OASIS HOTEL was the perfect setting for Carimi's listening session. Parking available, nice space and all. The reception was enjoyable, at three gorgeous VOILA women at the entrance ready to great you with a bag containing VOILA gifts, a nice looking Carimi Buzz T-Shirt, Voila t-shirts and a key chain. Prestige was a gogo, sodas and hors d'oeuvre which included Kibby, gryiot and some little tartes. Great seating area, great spot to mingle, the atmosphere was chill and relaxed. Richard, Carlo, Micheal, Alex Thebaud and Fito was walking around talking to the guests and have everyone feel comfortable and at home.

THE VIDEO: BUZZ

I won't say anything just follow me, close your eyes and visualize a balck and white world:

The beginning, Gorgeous, sexy and classy girl with black top belly dancing....boom, in a deserted neighborhood with deserted building on the background giving you the feeling that you were in Lebanon, a middle eastern guy singing and the boom, Carlo, Richard, Micheal dressed so appropriately walking, looking mean and confident. From the Middle East with love, we go back to where it all started, New York.

You can see Micheal Guirand with a balck and white mafia type of suit singing inside an escalade driving through the streets of New York, the best shot is when the Escalade is rolling down Time Square, you can see the reflection of all the light and glitter of Manhattan in between snapshots of a club scene.

The climax of the video: The guys are entering an airfield and you can see the Private JET that was talk about on KM. Shabba just went crazy on that part. Moun yo rele anmey leu yo we Jet la and when Shabba started singing, that was it, moun yo finn fou. Yo menm montre Shabba sou yo crazy moto. All the guys were dressed Europend style, Carlo te gen yon crazy costume shinny dark gray, bel bagay net. Shabba te trop fre, he's becoming the Haitian Version of Kanye West, stylish, feature him on your video and you know he will light up the Buzz. Great video, great scenery, great colors, nice story, just perfect....

THE ALBUM: BUZZ

Very nice album, if the lead single is Buzz, the second would be Officiel. I don't know if it's because it was talked about on KM but when they announced Officiel moun yo te gen yon bel reaction caus it's about official girls having guys on the side, the tables have turned

We the best is a very cool track, street oriendted. Richard Cave has a song called Kado i think where he uses an Harmonica and chinese violin, the poetry in this one is great and the sound and instrumentation make it amazing, perfect job. Mwen Pare(pou'm marye) is amazing with a spanish guitar. Carlo has an acapella version of Dezole plus the kompa version which is a great song. It will kill live. Other songs are Fanm Sa Move with Mika, very cool and young, a joint with Princess Lover and more. Overall there are 10 songs including Zandolit. Carimi will definitely bounce back with this album, it will be a success live, no many haters in the world can bring down the work these guys put in their album...Great Job guys and PERFECT JOB on the Video.

THE STARS ARE OUT

In the attendance was Ritchie from Zenglen, Ti Lion came in as he was joined by Lionel Benjamin and later on an all happy Mika Benjamin specially after the nice reaction from his new track N'ap Kite'l Pou Yo. Jwilavi's founder Gino was in attendance also. KM Members representing were K-Lito and I think it was Zabelbook, i think a recognize the face and a lot of people from the media having fun in the company of Carlo Vieux, Richard Cave, Fito Farinen and ALex Thebaud.

On UN mission, Bill Clinton promotes tourism in Haiti

(AFP) CAP-HAITIEN, Haiti — Former US president Bill Clinton, visiting Haiti in his capacity as a United Nations special envoy, wrapped up a two-day trip with a call for tourists to visit the Caribbean country.

"I love this place. It's wonderful. I see the potential," he said as he visited Cap-Haitien, on the country's north coast.

With infrastructure improvement, such as better roads, visitors from the United States and elsewhere would be able to experience what Haiti has to offer, he added.

Haitian children would benefit too, he added, by being able to "learn about the greatness of their country's history."

Clinton, who was appointed in June to serve as a special envoy for United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, has been visiting Haiti in a bid to boost investments in the Americas' poorest nation.

He called on Haiti's government to build a national airport in the north of the country, home to most of the nation's touristic and historic sights.

Clinton noted the success of Haiti's neighbor on the island of Hispaniola -- the Dominican Republic -- which attracts around two million tourists a year.

He encouraged Haiti to carefully preserve its monuments and historic sites, while working to protect the country's environment.

Haiti has been devastated by unchecked deforestation for charcoal production, leaving the nation with less than two percent vegetation coverage.

Clinton was named special UN envoy with a mandate to mobilize international donors to contribute to Haiti, which was ravaged by storms in 2008 and has an employment rate of 70 percent.

On Thursday, Clinton hosted a meeting of more than 200 potential investors from throughout the Americas, telling them it was a moment of "great opportunity" for foreign investment in Haiti.

"I can tell you the political risk in Haiti is lower that it has ever been in my lifetime," the former president said, adding that he and the Haitian government would work to accommodate any requests by investors.

The former president is hugely popular with many Haitians, and has found himself met by cheering crowds during his travels in the country.

GRACIA sanbl e jwenn papa ’l

Not-so-dangerous destinations

Now you can visit fascinating places with bad reputations

Let's say you're planning a Caribbean vacation. You're not sure which island you want to see, so you visit a well-known travel Web site and browse their map. There's Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Turks & Caicos, the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic and ...

Wait a second — doesn't another country share the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic? What happened to Haiti?

You know a country is off the beaten path when a major travel company doesn't even show it on their maps. In a nutshell, that's Haiti — a country with a reputation so ravaged by decades of civil war, catastrophic weather calamities and crippling corruption that you might forget it's even in the Caribbean.

It wasn't always like this. Even during the time of notoriously corrupt François “Papa Doc” Duvalier in the 1960s, Haiti was a popular tourist destination. And that's to say nothing of one of the Americas' most famous travelers, Christopher Columbus, who landed here in 1492. But when the military took power in a coup in 1991, the political situation rapidly deteriorated and the international community condemned the new regime for human rights abuses. Ever since, "Haiti" has been synonymous with poverty and violence.

To be sure, Haiti is still a desperately poor nation, but adventurous travelers are coming to appreciate this beleaguered nation for its West African-influenced heritage, truly untouched beaches and vibrant urban culture. And getting there is simple: Daily direct flights to Port-Au-Prince are available from most major American cities, and they're actually quite affordable.

Haiti is just one example of a country struggling to overcome a reputation for danger. Telling friends or family that you are traveling to Bangladesh, Bosnia or any country ending in “-stan” is likely to result in expressions of concern for your safety. But, as with Haiti, many of these concerns are based on dusty mental files and stereotypes that are easier to employ than explode.

More often than not, it's political unrest that tarnishes a country's image. And that's not always fair, says Julia Dimon, a travel journalist and co-host of “Word Travels,” a documentary series about the real lives of travel writers airing internationally on the National Geographic Adventure channel. “Political strife found in certain areas of a country shouldn't taint the entire destination,” says Dimon. “Despite negative news and nasty travel advisories, I've discovered that life goes on as normal — people shop, play, drink, pray and try to take care of their families.”

Haiti will Survive anyway...

Corruption Is The New Fashion Statement

Originally: How Come Things Never Work in Haiti?

Richard A. Morse

I remember when things got difficult in Haiti back in the early 1990's. Haiti's elites had taken over with a brutal coup d'état, and killing people who spoke out became fashionable. Bill Clinton was then president of the United States. I remember asking myself, should I keep speaking out or should I take

the safer route and keep quiet. In the end I decided that I didn't want to die and have my last thoughts be, "I should have said something."

Well, the same folks who gave us imported rice, imported sugar and overcrowding (Chicago economics) in Port-au-Prince are back in power and they're profiting from photo-ops with now-special envoy to the UN Bill Clinton. It's all a masquerade. The UN, Bill Clinton's employer, is at the base of the

masquerade.

Everyone in Haiti knows the United Nations is corrupt. The United Nations has endorsed fraudulent elections. Poor Haitians know it; rich Haitians know it; the "left" in Haiti knows it; the "right" in Haiti knows it; the opposition in Haiti knows it; the UN workers know it; the Haitian government knows it; the Haitian president knows it; the journalist from the New York Times Magazine knows it; Michelle Montas, spokesperson to the UN, knows it, and I know it. I said it publicly back in April, I said it publicly back in May and I said it publicly back in June. The April/June senatorial elections in Haiti were fraudulent. I said it privately to Michelle Montas on May 1 at the RAM concert at the Alliance Française in New York City.

I told Michelle Montas that the Haitian senatorial elections were fraudulent and the implication that the fraud could expand to Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and North Korea was too disturbing to keep quiet. A couple of days ago, the New York Times ran an article that spoke of the UN firing someone because they were speaking out. This is an excerpt from the NYT article:

"...The two men have clashed repeatedly, United Nations officials said, and their different approaches came to a head over the vote recount after the Aug. 20 Afghan presidential election. Mr. Galbraith demanded a total recount, but then left Afghanistan and retreated to his Vermont farm.. Until now, Mr. Ban and others had been saying that Mr. Galbraith was expected to return to Kabul.

"Reaction to Mr. Galbraith's removal was swift from the campaign of Abdullah Abdullah, the former Afghan foreign minister . . ."

I can't get fired for saying the Haitian elections were fraudulent. I can get shot, someone around me can get shot, I can have my business run into the ground. I can have my electric rates and my tax rates get doubled and tripled. I can have requests for project funding denied; but I can't get fired.

Bill Clinton is running around Haiti pretending everything is fine; hanging out with people who are responsible for many of Haiti's problems and I guess I'm supposed to sit here and be quiet. As I said, Mr Clinton is enjoying himself with the same families who decided it's better to import rice and sugar, which in effect, has quadrupled the population of Port au Prince and is the leading cause of the destruction of Haitian society.

Well, it's difficult to be quiet, though I try, because in the long run all this stuff is going to come back and snap us in the butt and everyone is going to say, "How come things never work in Haiti?" Maybe Bill Clinton has good intentions, but he also has lousy "on-the-ground intelligence". Bill Clinton took FRAPH, which was a repressive Haitian paramilitary force headed by Toto Constant, and he wanted to turn it into a loyal opposition political party back in 1994!

I don't know if the UN is corrupt from the bottom up or (as a matter of poli cy) from the top down; but the same corruption seems to be spreading to other trouble spots around the world.

We have presidential elections coming to Haiti next year. I'm guessing the winners and the vote counts have already been decided. It would only make sense. Corruption is the new fashion statement.

What Obama's Nobel Prize May Mean (Or Not)

Washington Post Staff Writer

Friday, October 9, 2009; 8:55 PM

Other than to say that President Obama was "surprised," the White House has declined to discuss the details of the early Friday morning phone call during which press secretary Robert Gibbs informed Obama that he had won the Nobel Peace Prize.

The official line from Obama is that he was "surprised and deeply humbled" by the news, and that a visit from one of his daughters, who equated in momentousness the awarding of the lofty prize and her puppy's birthday, helped him put things in perspective. The immediate blowback from the Republicans, and the history of attacks calling him an undeserved celebrity -- a political Paris Hilton -- probably provided all the perspective he needed.

"Well, this is not how I expected to wake up this morning," Obama said during a morning press conference in the Rose Garden.

The president didn't demonstrate much bounce in his step on his way to the podium (Gibbs did call early, after all) and when he was done speaking about how "the elimination of nuclear weapons may not be completed in my lifetime," he turned without answering any questions.

"What did your wife say?" one reporter shouted as he walked away.

"What will you do with the money, Mr. President?" another yelled.

"If I were sitting in that White House, this is not something I would have asked for today," said one former adviser to former President Bill Clinton, who did not want to be named addressing the awkward position of the White House. "It feeds into an image that his detractors want to portray of him."
